ABSTRACT
Alumina has been widely used in many industrial areas,it can be used as protection in energy-saving lamps, its preparation methods can be divided into solid-state, gas, liquid act. Sol - gel is one of the important technical prepared Nano-particles, as a wet chemical synthesis methods, with these advantegers simple equipment, technology easy to control,bettet purity and uniformity of prepared powder, and low cost.
In this paper, isopropanol aluminum (Al(C3H7O)3) as raw materials, γ-nanometer alumina (γ-Al2O3) powder is prepared by sol - gel method . Phase identification was performed by X-ray diffractometer (XRD), particle surface morphology was observed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) ,which is applied to research the impact of characteristics of nano-Al2O3 powder and mechanism by the deionized water, reaction temperature and additives (nitric acid, ammonium hydrogen fluoride, glacial acetic acid, ammonia, and so on ).
The results show that the deionized water has an important impact on the particle size and morphology ,in the same ratio circumstances, the dispersion of prepared powder at 80℃is better than at 60 ℃, the best Preparation of alumina hydrate by Sol - gel method:The molar ratio of Al isopropanol to water is 1:3, hydrolysis temperature at 80 ℃, the same Aluminum of alcohol and water dropping to the end of isopropanol, stirring 2h then standing 24 h for gel, gel of hydrated alumina dry 24 h at electric incubators 90 ℃, which become dry powder gel. Used different modifier on the morphology of nano-aluminum powder and dispersion have a great impact. Key words: Energy-saving lamps; γ- Al2O3 ;Sol - gel
