Abstract
Plastic products, and plastic mold industry have occupied an important position in the national economy, as more advanced gas-assisted injection molding of plastic method of upgrading the quality of products, cost reduction is even more pronounced superiority. In this paper, coffee pot handle CAE analysis is based on the gas-assisted injection mold design, and because of the very large differences in thickness, and structure of complex shapes, it’s difficult to use ordinary injection molding process. So we must adopt gas-assisted injection molding process.
This paper is about coffee pot handle design of a gas-assisted injection mold plastic. During design process we use mainly Pro / E, AutoCAD and Moldflow software tools, and give full play to the advantages of computer-aided design, to achieve the vision of mold design. The author analyzes the plastic parts of the structure, and then choices of a single-mold surface, using oblique-slip devices, then, use of Pro / E module completes molding parts modeling. Then, using Moldflow does CAE analysis on parts, and we can have a series of calculated results. And under the guidance of the results of these calculations, the Pro / E EMX module completes the introduction of the mold, oriented institutions and structures parts modeling. Finally, draw die deputy general assembly with using the AutoCAD. In short, the mold design is simple, reliable operation of institution, drawing on the mold drawings actual production is instructive.
