An Analysis on Needs of Migrant Labors with Occupational Diseases from Social Work Perspective

Abstract
The research focuses on one case who is infected with acute- benzene- poison occupational disease. The author tries to discuss the client’s psychological activities and process of defend rights his own rights from social work perspective. The research aims to explore migrant workers’ needs and how they are satisfied. The research shows that on the one hand, migrant workers accept positive support and negative barriers from their family members; and one the other hand, the research discuss the interacting process among the client, local government, the client’s working unit, the hospital and Non-government organization and its effect on the client. The author aims to find some social work intervention in the field and calls for more public attention to the needs of migrant workers who are affected with occupational disease.
