Enterprise Resource Planning has become an advanced management information system;It also is a powerful weapon achieving the small and medium-sized information technology, improving management information capabilities and enhancing core competitiveness. The implementation of ERP system has become a trend in the development of enterprises, also being the inevitable result because of the development of information technology. In spite of small and medium-sized information technology has been put into practice for more than two decades, but there are many problems in the implementation of ERP. The anticipated benefits did not meet the target.
Facing the present situation that it is difficult to implement ERP systems and the success rate in implementation of ERP is low, this article makes implementation of ERP project as a starting point. It researches mainly problems and corresponding countermeasures in the information process in small and medium-sized industrial enterprises by empirical research and case study. First, this article makes an overview of the ERP. Then it analysis situation of implementation of ERP and common problems encountered and makes some strategic recommendations that raise the level of information technology, including awareness-raising, changes in thinking, exploring a new management and operation. After that, it Combined with a case that information technology solutions in Ningbo Baojie Electric Appliances Co Ltd. From the perspective of theory and practice, this article suggests that how to properly implement ERP system in small and medium-sized enterprises, promoting information technology construction of enterprises and development.
