城市公示语英译译法研究 中文

摘  要
 近年来，随着越来越多的国际盛事在中国各大城市举行，城市日益发展,成为国际政治经济、商务往来、旅游参观、工作学习等中心，吸引和接待来自世界不同国家和不同地区的朋友。城市公示语不仅作为游客最直观、最有效的信息指引，给外国人带来方便，还与城市的形象密切相连。一个城市的开放程度与其服务意识都可以体现在公示语翻译中。但是不少公示语还存在各种翻译的问题，城市公示语的翻译及规范问题倍受关注。本文在有关公示语的研究基础上分析城市公示语的语言特点，得出其告知、指引、提醒、限制等作用，结合所收集的城市公示语的一些实际例子，总结其翻译存在的译法不统一、直译、漏译与不准确等一般问题，并在这些问题和当代翻译理论的指导下，归纳城市公示语翻译所应遵循的原则，并探究其直接对应翻译、正反翻译、省略意译及其它翻译方法。

Abstract
 In recent years, a great number of international events have been held by some famous cities in China. Big cities in China have gradually become the international centers of politics, economy, business, travel, study and work, which attract friends from different countries and regions. Public signs，which bring a lot of conveniences，not only provide the most direct and effective information for the foreigners, but also have a stake in the global image of the city. The openness and the quality of public service of the city can be represented on the translation of the public signs. Great focus has been played on the translation and standard of public signs, because there’re still many different kinds of mistake in public sign’s translation. Under the guide of professional study and theory on public sign’s language, this paper starts from the introduction of the unique characteristics and the usage of city public signs-informing, directing, reminding and confining, and elevates the translation errors or problems of most public signs under the samples collected in daily life. The errors are mainly unmatched, Chinglish, missing or mistaken translation. With the guidance of modern translation theory together with the problems sum-up, the paper points out the basic rules of the translation of public signs and concludes some useful translation methods on public signs, such as translating according to the real meaning directly, using the opposite way to express the literal meaning, grasping the core meaning to translate, as well as some other practical translation methods.
