Abstract: The optimization experiment of active polysaccharide extraction of Plantago was carried out and the optimal extraction condition was determined, and accordingly to be used in extracting of Plantago polysaccharide. In the experiment Plantago polysaccharide yield was taken as an index, extraction temperature, extraction time, material-water mass ratio and extraction times. The results showed that the better extraction time was 3h, extraction temperature was 80℃, material-water ratio was 1:20, extraction times was 2. In this paper, the conditions of extracting yam polysaccharides were optimized based on response surface method (RSM). Experimental factors and their levels were determined by one-factor tests. Subsequently, the CCD design with 4 factors and 5 levels was performed, and the factors influencing the technological were estimated by quadratic regression analysis with interaction terms. Response surface and contour were finally graphed with the extraction rate as the response value. The results showed that the optimal conditions of polysaccharides extraction were obtained as following, extraction temperature 79.91℃,extraction time 3.45h, the material-water ratio 1:20, extraction times was 3 and that extraction rate could be up to 8.03%.
