On the evolution of establishment Hengxian before Five Dynasties
Abstract
The establishment of Hengxian administrative area in Guangxi has a long history. Since Anguang Country was built in the sixth year of Yuanding in Han Dynasty (111 years BC), it has been more than 2100 years up to the present. In the seventh years of Taikang in Jin Dynasty (AD 286 years), Ningpu County was built. During the Tinjian period in Lang Dynasty (AD 502-519), Ningpu County was divided into many parts, the court added to build Jianyang County, Lingshan County, Leyang County, which belonged to Guangzhou. In the eleventh years of Kaihuang in Sui Dynasty (AD 591), the court removed Ningpu Country and Jianyang Country, instead of Jian State. In the sixth year of Wude Tang Dynasty (AD 623), Jian State was changed into Nanjian State; in the eighth year of Zhenguan (AD 634), Nanjian State was changed into Heng State. After five dynasties, the name of country inherited, people called Heng State or Hengxian.
