Abstract
With the development of science and technology, it is necessary to use the sensor with a corresponding high-precision or large-scale detection system in the research and application of basic science and cutting-edge technology. Sensor detection technology has been applied in highly automated factories, equipment, devices and biological engineering, medical and health, environmental protection, safety precautions, and so on.
Many enterprises, at present, when using stamping method in production and processing, still depends on simple manual methods, and a lot of stamping equipment is charged with a variety of products or of manufacturing procedures. In such circumstances, without the security guards of stamping equipment, one’s hands can easily be injured.so, it is an important task for preventing the accident from happening to strengthen security protection and security management and to improve the degree of mechanization in the production of stamping.
A set of safety precaution system has been designed in this paper to resolve the question of safety in the production of stamping. This design is a kind of photoelectric automatic protection device controlled by infrared diode. The device does not respond if the manipulator is beyond the dangerous range. If someone enters the dangerous range, the device will give an alarm and its switch will be off the power of the electromotor. The device, characterized by high veracity ( effective control ratio is 100 % within half a meter) , simple structure and low cost, is suitable to be spread and popularized in the sites related to stamping operation.
