1.Research Background
Reading is the process of acquiring information from written materials. Reading teaching plays an important role in English teaching, and the cultivation of reading ability is one of the most important parts in English teaching. "English curriculum standards" clearly stated that "the focus of a new round of reform of English course is to change the English curriculum pays too much attention to grammar and vocabulary teaching, and ignore the tendency of students' language proficiency training, new curriculum requirements increase the student's extracurricular reading quantity and the main test students' access to information and processing the ability of students reading speed and efficiency are put forward new requirements.
In language learning, reading is the basis of all other skills, and strong reading ability helps students master the target language. First of all, reading is the most direct and basic way to cultivate students' language sense. A good sense of English language can not only help students overcome the differences in lexical order between the East and the west, but also enable students to make grammatical mistakes and make correct judgments. Second, reading is an effective way to help students master and memorize English words. As is known to all, vocabulary is the basic unit of language and the basis of language learning. Only by mastering a certain amount of vocabulary can students develop other language skills, such as listening, speaking, reading and writing. In the process of reading, the memory of words is placed in a certain language environment. As a result, it is the vocabulary of an isolated individual, through the context of students can not only more accurately memorizing vocabulary, but also can better understand and master the usage of words. In addition, reading helps to improve students' writing ability. Through reading, students can widely contact language materials. On the one hand, students can accumulate a lot of beautiful words, learning the unique expression pattern, grasp some of the rhetoric, and apply it to their English writing; on the other hand, students can learn and imitate the reading frame structure, the connection. At the same time, reading helps to develop English thinking and avoid students' Chinese expressions in English writing. Finally, English reading can make students understand the western customs and culture, expand thinking, broaden their horizons.

My own research results from reflection on some problems in my daily teaching practice. In my teaching practice, due to the traditional theory and English reading standardized test method, the influence of always causes the following four questions: one, the students ignore the thought construction, the student of the whole article ignore independent read silently, there is no guarantee that sufficient reading time, reading skills shortage, eventually led to the students' English reading ability, speed, quantity obviously deficiencies
2.2. The research object
Because I read junior high school of time, most of the students from the countryside, family education atmosphere is not thick, and are generally lower, the quality of parents in rural parents working outside all the year round, and the lack of correct guidance and effective monitoring of their children, make the most of the students is in a state of drift, their behavior, self control ability is generally weak. Lack of English environment, poor English, so in English reading this is more weak or lost. This research will be a useful exploration of the good habit of students reading.
The mastery of language requires reading a lot of language material. Reading is one of the basic language skills that people need to communicate and obtain information.
