Discussing the Theory of Multiple Intelligences between
the East and the West and Its Inspiration

Abstract: The issue of intelligences is a focal subject in psychology circle. The Theory of Multiple Intelligences, advanced by Howard Gardner, argues that there are at least seven types intelligences in the human brain. These intelligences are both important in development of human beings. This essay introduces the emergence of the theory and its inspiration in west. Finally, the author raises its significance to our education.
